Our roots can be traced back to 1985 when Emily Cardin founded a small start up service in the Philadelphia suburbs. Back then answering service pricing was low and equipment was nothing like it is today. Over the years, the call center operation grew into a strong local presence. In 2003 Nicolas D'Alleva founded HVAC Answering Service, a national answering service company operating in the same Philadelphia regional area. In 2004, the companies merged. Specialty Answering Service has been operating as HVAC Answering Service, Inc. DBA Specialty Answering Service for 7 years, but as a telephone answering service which grew from a small local service to a national one for almost 30 years.
