Can An Answering Service be Used for Personal Reasons?
Category: Answering Service Lifestyle
At their core, answering services answer your phone calls when you are unavailable. Sure, there are other facets of the service like help desk, live chat, email response, etc., but the service is basically there to answer your calls. Obviously the business applications for answering service are endless, understand that there are personal applications as well:
- If you have any type of court order that prevents direct contact, the personal answering service can be the independent party where all messages pass through.
- An answering service can be a check in line for children to make sure they are safe. The service can be setup to dispatch text messages with a required telephone reply with protocol if no response being the parents or guardians get alerted.
- Any wedding or personal event can use a service to manage RSVP requests.
- Getting too many telephone calls at your house and don’t feel comfortable having people go to voicemail? Use an answering service to screen your calls & to take the role as an “overflow operator” for your house.
The majority of any answering services client base are using them for businesses but there is still a place for personal use.
