  • KSU (Key Service Unit): A centralized control cabinet that houses telephone equipment, most likely PBX type of equipment. The cabinets serves multi function telephones and enables the user to pick up lines or hold lines as well as providing different "signals" such as flashing lines, wink hold signals, and busy lines.
  • Kbps: (AKA Kilobits per Second) is a measurement for data transmission. One kilobit is one thousand bits so a kilobit per second is one thousand bits per second.
  • KHz: (AKA Kilohertz) is a measurement of wavelengths that equals one thousand hertz (or cycles) per second.
